Headwriting
If your series is about to go into production, Adastra can come on-board for the final stage of development and then lead and manage the entire scripting process.
We have excellent contacts in the UK, the United States, Canada and Australia and can find the most suitable scriptwriters for your show.
Adastra can provide script-editing services but usually takes a Headwriter role – taking each script from initial storyline to final polish. We like to work collaboratively with a small team of writers who are dedicated and committed to the production.
We liaise with broadcasters, producers and directors, can look at storyboards and attend voice records (and take on voice direction). Adastra's creative involvement varies from project to project, depending on our clients' needs and requirements.
Headwriting projects include Guess with Jess - Entertainment Rights, CG animation for CBeebies; Garth - Kavaleer Productions for CBeebies and Five Minutes More – Snow River Media/Dandy Productions/Buster Productions for ABC Australia and Disney Playhouse UK.
