Adastra provides development consultancy to independent producers and broadcasters, helping them realise the potential of their I.P.s.

We have considerable experience in animation, live action and puppet series and offer a range of services, depending on our clients' needs. Recent projects include:

• Originating a concept based on existing characters (Not So Scary Monsters for The Monster Factory)
• Adapting a publishing property for television (Poppy Cat for Coolabi Productions)
• Re-working an existing concept (Beach Bears for Chapman Entertainment)
• Re-creating an existing television property for new audiences (Tales of the Riverbank for Celador)
• Developing an entirely new concept from scratch (Endemol UK –Initial Kids)

Adastra can put together pitch bibles, generate storylines and write sample scripts. We work with designers, composers, directors and animators to produce pilots and promos. We offer voice direction, audio production, and editing using our Final Cut Pro Edit Suite.

Our particular expertise in pre-school television means that we can provide advice on educational curriculum and content.

Adastra can advise on multi-platform possibilities and international sales potential. We help clients to deliver presentations and can attend pitch meetings with broadcasters. And once the series is in production we can take on the role of Headwriter and/or Script Editor.
